Craig Thurber
Principal of the company, Craig joined in 1975 after 2 years
at a Fortune 500 company. With over 30 years experience,
he is a 3 time elected officer of the Chicago Section of
Institute of Food Technology (IFT), a member of American
Association of Candy Technologists (AACT) and has presided over
the recent rapid growth of the company.
Scott Thurber
Started with the company in 1972. A member of The
Candy Production Club of Chicago, past President of The FIND Group
a nationwide group of
Independent Companies marketing Food Ingredients and is a
partner in Arena 2 Football and former partner with the Iowa
Barnstormers in the original Arena Football League.
Diane Smith
After years of working in the offices of Chrysler Financial
and Allstate Insurance, Diane joined The Thurber Company in
1995. Currently, she is the Officer Manager and is in
charge of Inside Sales. Also, she is a member of Food
Executive Women (FEW). As Diane says, At The Thurber
Company, customer service is not a department it is an
attitude.
